Embattled PDP Governorship Candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori Served Supreme Court Papers

Embattled PDP governorship candidate in Delta State, RT Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori has been served Supreme Court Papers by substituted means of service.

Focus Naija can report that the Supreme Court granted David Edevbie prayer for substituted service after filing briefs at the first hearing on Thursday, 22nd September, 2022.

According to reports, the matter was adjourned till September 30 for the consideration of other preliminary issues.

 

Recall, that the Federal High Court, Abuja had nullified the PDP governorship primary after David Edevbie challenged Sheriff Oborevwori’s emergence over discrepancies in his credentials.

Subsequently, the Court of Appeal upturned the judgement in favor of Oborevwori and Edevbie not satisfied with the ruling, proceeded to the Supreme Court which opened hearing on Thursday, ordering the substituted means for service.
