Lagos Governor, Sanwo-Olu is a Hypocrite — Rights Activist, Isreal Joe

Ace Human Rights Activist, Isreal Joe has described the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu as a hypocrite for rejecting the recommendations of the END SARS panel and calling for a peace walk instead.

Focus Naija can report that the activist in a press statement, berated Sanwo-Olu for not taking a clue from his counterpart in Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to him, Governor Okowa did not only support END SARS but also created a Human Rights Protection Committee after accepting the panel report and would commence the payment of compensations to victims as recommended by the Panel.

The statement reads;

I listened and watched with uttermost attention and broad displeasure, the way the White Paper presented to Sanwo-Olu the governor of Lagos State has been intentionally painted black. Yes the governor has turned that sacred painstaking well investigated written document into black paper by rejecting the report carried out by men and women of proven integrity and competent capacity.

The governor failed to understand that he has indirectly rubbish himself because, if they are not capable in the first place, he would not have inaugurated the Judicial Panel to look into the matters. He also did not realize that history is an unforgettable beast that will replay itself while not even demanded at no cost.

He should enjoy his peace walk himself along with paid and hired crowd that would walk with him not because they do not know the truth but because they must have their share in the national cake. The world know the truth and it cannot be compromised for any reason.

I thought, however that he would take a clue from his counterpart in Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who did not just supported the #EndSARS, created a Human Rights Protection committee chaired by himself, accepted the White Paper and would commence paying compensation to victims as recommended by the Panel.

The golden date to the gate of freedom would not be forgotten in the annals of Nigeria democratic history as 20-10-20 where our fate was aborted by the orders of an unknown elites.
