JUST IN: Three Suspected Cultists Arrested In Senator OmoAgege’s Hometown (Photos)

Three suspected cultists were arrested by a police surveillance team of Orogun Division during a night raid.

Focus Naija can report that the hoodlums were arrested at small market junction in Orogun, which happens to be the hometown of Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omoagege.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relation Officer of the Delta State Command, Edafe Bright, the suspected cultists were overpowered with the help of the anti-cult group during the raid.

The suspects identified as Aworo Efe, Ogene Oghenedoro Obiobor and Great with surname unknown are currently being interrogated and  have given useful information that will help the police to track down fleeing members of the gang.

Statement reads in part;

 

On 04/04/2021 at about 2350hrs acting on credible information, intelligence gathering, police surveillance team of Orogun Division assisted by anti-cult group raided a notorious cult hideout at small market junction orogun three (3) suspected members of arrow Barger confraternity, Aworo Efe ‘m’ 25yrs old Ogene Oghenedoro Obiobor ‘m’ 28yrs old great ‘m’ surname yet unknown alias community 30yrs old were arrested the teams were attacked by the cultists but for the resilience by the surveillance team, the cultist were over powered, they are currently been intoragted and have given information to the police that will lead to the arrest of other gang members. Parent and guardian are therefore advised to look after their wards and do all they can to discourage them from participating in cultism as this is the mother of virtually all crimes in the country today.
