ATTENTION: Another Disaster Waiting To Happen In Agbor, Delta State (Photos)

Convener of Young Nigerian Rights, Comrade Victor Ojei has drawn the attention of the Delta State Government to another disaster waiting to happen in Agbor, Delta State.

The human rights activist took to social media to share photos of buildings that are about to collapse due to gully erosion.

According to him, the buildings are located along Tete street just immediately after Living Messiah church, AGBOR, DELTA STATE.

Recall, an inferno caused by a gas explosion led to the death of four persons with eleven hospitalized in the southern state. Amongst the four deceased are three children and one adult.

While speaking to newsmen, the state Governor, Dr Ifeanyi A. Okowa dismissed reports that health workers were not available when victims were initially rushed to the Central Hospital in Agbor for treatment.

He noted that due to the high degree of burns sustained by the victims, the health facility was overwhelmed hence the victims were transferred to specialists hospitals for treatment while the government foots the bills.
