Nigerians Begin Social Media Revolution In Solidarity With Uganda’s Young Presidential Candidate Under House Arrest

Nigerians in their numbers on Thursday night and early Friday morning started a profile picture revolution in solidarity with Uganda’s young Presidential candidate, Bobi Wine who is said to be under house arrest.

The government had cut off every means of communication and placed Bobi Wine under house arrest with all telephone lines totally disconnected from network and internet services interrupted.

Nigerians using the hash tag #WeAreRemovingADictactor started changing their profile pictures to express their displeasure over the breach in communication at such crucial time as election.

Calling out President Yoweri Museveni who has been ruling since Bobi Wine was 4years old, Nigerians stood with Uganda to oust out the man that doesn’t want to give up power after ruling for 35years.
