Phone Snatcher Jumps Into Canal To Evade Jungle Justice (Photos)

A suspected phone snatcher jumped into a canal to evade jungle justice in Lagos.

The incident happened on Saturday night behind the National theatre Iganmu, just a stone throw from Costain/eko bridge Lagos.

The guy snatched a phone from an innocent passer-by who raised alarm and was immediately rushed by bikemen. The alarm attracted many people and the suspect on hearing what was about to befall him jumped into canal to resist the mob action.

However, the  angry mob didn’t let him go but followed him until he was fished out of the dirty canal and was about to be given a dose of the  mob action before men of SARS arrived the scene and whisked him away.
