Suspected Herdsmen Kill Balewa In Oyo State
Baleri Nurudeen a native of Idere, Ibarapa Central Local Government in Oyo state was on Friday August 23, 2019 slain by suspected herdsmen on his way to carryout his daily business along Dagbeere road.
Focus Naija learnt that the suspected herdsmen after killing the young man carted away with his bike, phone, huge amount of money and other valuable items.
Nurudeen was into cattle business (Baranda) until he met his untimely death.
One of the indigenes of Idere who spoke to Idere update under the condition of anonymity described Baleri Nurudeen as an hardworking man and a cheerful giver whose philanthropic way of life was second to none. He however, described his assassination as tragic and a great loss for the community as a whole. Adding that this was a man whose wife just gave birth to twins couple of months ago.
Baleri’s remains has since been buried amidst tears in his just completed house at Malete, Idere while mourners have been paying condolence visit to his aged mother.
Another individual while speaking on the assassination of Baleri said that the Incessant attack of herdsmen has become the order of the day in the area.
He however, called on the necessary authority to take action before the menace escalates beyond unfathomable stage.
Baleri Nurudeen is survived by 4 children and 2 wives.
