Tug of war as an aggrieved student of the Delta State Polytechnic has petitioned the National Board Of Technical Education over the breach of the use of continuous assessment enshrined in it’s code of conduct.
Lucky Deborah, in her petition to the regulatory body noted that Ozoro Poly’s suspension of the use of continuous assessment is an infringement on the code of conduct, undermining whether the mode of examinations is CBT or not.
Part of her petition to the NBTE reads,
Delta state polytechnic ozoro was not the first school to use CBT to conduct examinations. Delta state polytechnic ogwashi used CBT too for the first time. Did you see their students crying over poor results???
No, because they followed the rules and the code of conduct set by the NBTE.
Continuous Assessment is a must whether with CBT or without… Going against the rule is a movement against the set code of conduct. Hence needs to be reprimanded.
