Final Year Oghara Poly Students Bag Indefinite Suspension For Shooting Student Pastor

Two final year engineering students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara has being suspended indefinitely alongside two others for shooting a student pastor in an attempted robbery.

 

The four students who were apprehended with the firearm used in the robbery attack during the students union cultural day celebration held on Thursday last week, accosted the student pastor, shot him and tried to steal his phone.

An official memo signed by the Registrar, Benson Omonode authorising their indefinite suspension from the institution by the school management, announced the affected students as Ogbekhilu Collins (HND II, Mechanical Engineering), Oghenede Godbless (HND II, Elect-Elect Engineering), Agbagbara Ernest (ND 1, Regular 2, Industrial Engineering) and Omare Andy (ND II, Regular 1 Business Administration and Mgt.)

The students have being handed over to security personnels for further investigations and subsequent prosecution if found culpable.
