I stand with PDP governors on RUGA – Atiku

Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party and Nigeria’s former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has weighed in on the controversial proposed RUGA by the President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government.

In response to Femi Fani-Kayode’s tweet asking his position on the subject, Atiku expressed unflinching support for the unanimous decisions taken by the governors elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, stating that it is one Nigeria as there is neither north nor south over threats on ultimatum issued by northern youths.

He wrote,

My position on Ruga is the same as articulated by the Governors elected under the banner of my party, the PDP. My position has been well iterated by our Governors & the PDP is one. I will not dignify that threat with a response. There is no North or South. There is just Nigeria.
