Lady lands in prison for slapping accused thief in court

There was a light drama at Ojo Magistrate Court in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State on Friday as a woman slapped a person in court and she or he was despatched to Kirikiri Prisons for contempt of court.

The younger girl, Adaeze Eleonu, was the complainant in a cellphone theft case involving her neighbour, one Chinedu Esemeneh, who was arraigned in court.

However, the case turned full circle as the woman was additionally remanded for shedding her mood and slapping the person even because the court was in session.

Both events, who are usually not actual lovers, have been mentioned to have met at a lodge in Ojo space on association by a lodge attendant to have enjoyable. As they have been served drinks, the woman reportedly complained that her cellphone jammed and requested the person to assist her to activate it.

Chinedu, whereas attempting to deactivate the cellphone, excused himself and allegedly disappeared with the cellphone, a Techno model price N45, 000.
