Corpse of murdered woman dumped in Benue bush (Photos)

The corpse of a middle aged woman was in the early hours of today found dumped along a bush path in Ugba road in Benue state.

According to reports, the woman simply identified as Stella was murdered and dumped along the bush path by unknown persons.

Suspected to have been strangled to death, her assailant(s) was reported to have fled after dropping her corpse in the bush without any trace.

Calls put across to the Benue state police command for comments by newsmen to confirm the murder and remove her corpse for investigations, was left unanswered as at the time of filing this report.
